Description:
The GE IS215VPROH1BD is a Emergency Turbine Protection Module developed by GE. It is a part of Mark VI control system. The Emergency Turbine Protection board, along with its associated terminal boards (TPRO and TREG), constitutes a critical component of the emergency overspeed protection system, ensuring the safety and integrity of turbine operations.The VPRO board, along with the TPRO and TREG terminal boards, establishes an independent emergency overspeed protection system. This system operates redundantly to safeguard against potential overspeed conditions, which pose significant risks to turbine operations and personnel safety.
The IS215VPROH1BD module is built with a faceplate that has LED indicators, a power switch, cable connectors, and Ethernet connectors. This faceplate connects to the boards using screws. It is an essential component for ensuring the safety and reliability of gas/steam turbine systems.
High-Precision Control Output Capability:It has 12 analog output channels (configurable for 4-20mA DC/0-10V DC) with an output accuracy of ±0.05% FS and a load driving capacity of up to 800Ω. These channels can directly drive control components such as valve positioners, actuators, and frequency converters, realizing fine adjustment of process parameters. Equipped with 24 digital output channels, it adopts a dual-mode output of transistor + relay (transistor output rating: 1A/24V DC; relay output rating: 5A/250V AC) and supports independent configuration as normally open/normally closed mode, which can meet the control needs of different load types. The output circuit has a built-in triple protection mechanism against overcurrent, short circuit, and overvoltage. When the load is abnormal, it quickly cuts off and locks the output, and can be reset through software or local operation after the fault is eliminated.
