Product Description

The 3500/15 is a half-height power supply module that must be installed in designated slots on the left side of the rack. A single rack can accommodate one or two power supplies, which can be AC or DC in any combination. One power supply alone provides sufficient power to operate an entire full rack.

When two 3500/15 power supplies are installed, they operate as a redundant pair. The supply in the lower slot functions as the primary unit, while the supply in the upper slot serves as a backup. This configuration allows for hot-swapping capability - you can remove or insert one power supply without interrupting rack operation as long as the other unit remains functional.

The 3500/15 accepts multiple input voltage ranges and converts them to the appropriate operating voltages required by other system modules. Three variants are available: Universal AC Power, High Voltage DC Power Supply, and Low Voltage DC Power Supply.
